The variety of trees and the magnificent spring blossoms are a major feature of Helensburgh’s residential areas.

Planting has been carefully selected over the years to provide harmony, colour and interest.

Some of the trees, through disease or simply old age, are now dying and the purpose of the Tree Trust is to replace them with new mature trees which will blend in with their existing location.

This requires trees of sufficient maturity and as close a species as possible to the existing planting.
