Objectives
The Helensburgh Tree Conservation Trust has the objective of promoting the conservation of the treescape of Helensburgh for the public benefit and, in particular, with special emphasis on the arboricultural heritage of the town.
Legal Status
The Trust is formally registered as a company limited by guarantee. A copy of the memorandum and articles of association can be obtained from the secretary. Charitable status has been obtained through approval by the Charities Commisioners.
Activities
The Trust intends to achieve it objectives by raising funds, lobbying for appropriate action to be taken and through educational work. We will work in partnership with Luss Estates, Argyll & Bute Council, local residents and any other body with an interest in the town’s heritage.
