KIRKMICHAEL CENTRE
Since its official opening in October 1999, Kirkmichael Centre has come a long way. This local learning centre was set up to provide access to further education and work experience programmes for young people and unemployed adults.
Its main aim is to be the nerve centre of the community where people feel at ease to drop in and the Centre is able to help and advise on the wide range of services that is available.

- Interview Skills Workshop (help with preparing CV, Careers Service, Job seeking advice, etc.)
- Welfare Rights
- Employment Service Surgery
- Access to Essential Skills (help with reading and writing)
- Help & support with Drugs & Alcohol issues
- Argyll & Bute Women’s Aid
- Health Visitor
LEARNING COURSES
The following courses are offered at the Kirkmichael Learning Centre on a regular basis, please phone the Centre to find out more about them, and the days and times the courses are being held. If there is a particular course that you are interested in, which is not being offered currently, please drop by the centre and let us know.

- Steps to Excellence ( a course designed to build confidence)
Many groups have got together and use the Centre on a regular basis. If you would like to join one of the groups listed below, or you would like to start one of your own, call 01436 675843 as we would love to hear from you. We will give you all the help necessary to set it up.
